Max J. Friedländer
Max J. Friedländer was born in 1867, on the 5th of June in Berlin. This year we are celebrating his 150th anniversary.
Max Friedländer studied art history in Munich, Leipzig and Florence. In 1891 he received his PhD summa cum laude for a dissertation on Albrecht Altdorfer.
